This wonderful satellite image was taken by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite, October 21, shortly after noon. At that time Hurricane Wilma was a category four hurricane with winds of 125kts or 145mph. Wilma was less than 40 miles from a Cozumel/Yucatan landfall.
