Manilla, Phillipines was hit hard this weekend by flooding rains from West Pacific cyclone Tropical Storm Ketsana. Ketsana delivered over 16-inches of rain to the capital city which put 80% of the city underwater. It is the heaviest one day rainfall total since June, 1967.
At least 75 140 240 people were dead and another 21 37 were still missing by the latest reports. Reports also suggest nearly 300,000 are now homeless on the Asian island chain.
Ketsana is back over open waters and is forecast to become a category one typhoon before striking near Hue, Vietnam Tuesday morning, Greenwhich time.
